Göran Carstedt

Former President of IKEA North America

Göran Carstedt is a former President of IKEA North America and a member of IKEA Group's executive management committee. He has also served as a senior director at the Clinton Climate Initiative and was responsible for the International Organization Learning Association at MIT from 1998 to 2000. Carstedt is recognized for his leadership in integrating corporate investment with social innovation. He has led multiple large multinational companies in transforming into green, sustainable enterprises. From 2015 to 2017, he served as a visiting professor at the School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg. His contributions to sustainable development are widely acclaimed.
