To address the global sustainable development challenges and promote the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, to tell the story of China's ecological civilization, and to advance the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, together with relevant institutions, has jointly initiated and established the "World Everlasting Development Forum." This forum is dedicated to building a diverse, open, and globally influential high-level platform for exchange and cooperation, bringing together politicians, experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and social figures from the global sustainable development field.
It aims to facilitate civilized and equal dialogue, exchange of knowledge and experiences, and deepen the discussion of sustainable development theories and ideas. The forum supports the realization of harmony between man and nature, amity among people, and inner peace and coexistence. It also promotes the specific actions of the Global Development Initiative, the Global Peace Initiative, and the Global Civilization Initiative, working together to build a new world that is lastingly peaceful, universally secure, commonly prosperous, open and inclusive, clean and beautiful, and sustainably developed.
